Bio: Chrys is Director of Farming Programs at the P.e.a.c.h. Community Farm in Cheney, Wa. Chrys has over 20 years experience in organic farming and his involvement in the organic movement dates from 1979 when he dropped out of college to join the Sunflour Bakery in Bar Harbor, Maine, a communal whole-foods bakery. Chrys has been a tofu maker and a member of a workers' collective that distributed organic produce throughout central California. Chrys has raised dairy goats for more than a decade. For 20 years Chrys lived, farmed and homesteaded at Tolstoy Farm in Davenport, Wa. He is a co-founder of the Spokane Farmers' Market.
